Cricut-tastic Award

Tisha from Tishascraftcove was so generous as to share this award with me! I am so thankful and to receive it, I must "Wear this badge proudly on your blog and share it with friends. Share this award with 10 people that you think have Cricut-tastic blogs. You also have to tell 5 cricut related things about yourself."
So here goes:
I think there are so many Cricut-tastic blogs out there, but I have to mention:

1. Mary from Cardz TV
2. Joanna from Scrap-making
3. Janice from Cricutology
4. Brian from Scrapguy
5. Sandra at 365daysofcricut
6. Pam @ Simply-pam
9. Sherrie @ Sherriescraps
10.  Lis @ Lizspaperloft

Now for 5 Cricut-Related things about myself:
1. I currently own a Cricut Expression and a baby bug. One matches my nails, and the other matches my wardrobe!!
2. I own several carts, but don't see the need to have them all.
3. Cricut has been a great link to meet other crafters and I'll always be grateful to PC for that.
4. I also own a Gypsy, and WOULD LOVE TO ADD FEATURES TO IT :)!
5. I love welding shapes on my Gypsy and coming up with my own version of Cricut cuts.

Flowers with Cricut Design Space, and Cricut Explore Air 2.

Thank you for joining me!
Today I am posting a short tutorial that comes in handy. I cover how to GROUP, ATTACH, ARRANGE and HIDE layers and shapes to maximize the use of your paper!. Using my Cricut Explore Air 2, Design Space and a FREE File: Creative Bug Flowers, I made custom flowers that coordinate perfectly with the papers in my cards.

Recipe: Cricut Explore Air 2, Creative Bug Flowers in several sizes, Flourish Card,Creative Cards, and Design Space Font: Sunday Swirls Bold, Spellbinders Dies: S4-295, and S2-077, Cardstock: Momenta. Other materials from my stash.

I hope this is useful to you, and that it answers some questions you may have! Please let me know what other types of tutorials may be helpful to you. I am happy to oblige!

Cricut Explore Air 2 Floral Thank You Card

Please enjoy this video, I apologize in advance for the abrupt editing, and I appreciate your feedback. I also should have mentioned that I used the fast-cut feature for some of the die cutting, and made this card very quickly. Overall, I am very pleased! Be blessed!

Hope Frame with Bible Verse

I was inspired to write this Bible verse to go along with this picture frame and Hope banner. It can be found in Psalm 31: 24, and it reads: "Be strong and take heart all you who hope in the Lord." Suffering from any type of cancer is devastating, and the words of David in what is one of the most beautiful books of the  Old Testament can really shed some light into a relationship in which the only comfort that really made a difference was the one promised by our very maker. If you, or someone you know is suffering from this horrible disease, my hope is that you find comfort not only in your surroundings and those you know, but also in the love of our God, just as David did in the darkest moments of his life.
For this project I used the Cricut to make the banner and flowers. I hand-painted the Bible verse and background with watercolors, color pencils, and ink. TFL!
I'll also be sharing this over at Link up for Pink.
