Girl Mini Album

Hi friends, I decided to share a little mini album I've been working on the last few days for a birthday girl. ( sorry for the horrid pictures, it's raining  here!)
I used several different stamps, techniques and a very simple theme throughout. It will be bound and off to be given tomorrow. I hope she likes it!
Her name is Isa ,short for Isabel, and as the number suggests, she'll be 6! The flower is a stamp, embossed and layered, with the 6 added as the center. I also used Viva pearls throughout.

This is the inside cover, with a detachable mini book to add journaling or pics.

Back of the little book, attached with velcro.

Page 3 allows for a picture, with a little ribbon.

This page is embossed with the same flower stamp as the cover, and the tree has glossy accents on it. The flower is also "popped".

I added glossy accents to this tree, and a little felt bird. The mat is stamped, and I used white gel ink to accent the stamping.

Here I added felt flowers, and glittered butterflies. The mat is from  Cricut.

Here I added some vintage buttons with twine, and mats from my Gypsy.

This page is stamped in white ink, and the flowers are felt, with a glittered white brad to match.

The tabs pull to allow room for more pics. This is a technique I learned at Split Coast Stampers.

The last page has a loving little male beaver from the $ stamps from Joanne's. I added glaze to his teeth and glossy accents to his heart. I thought it was a cute touch to add him to the book.

The back cover has a sticker that acts as a bottom border. I also painted the white and brown on the page.

Hope Frame with Bible Verse

I was inspired to write this Bible verse to go along with this picture frame and Hope banner. It can be found in Psalm 31: 24, and it reads: "Be strong and take heart all you who hope in the Lord." Suffering from any type of cancer is devastating, and the words of David in what is one of the most beautiful books of the  Old Testament can really shed some light into a relationship in which the only comfort that really made a difference was the one promised by our very maker. If you, or someone you know is suffering from this horrible disease, my hope is that you find comfort not only in your surroundings and those you know, but also in the love of our God, just as David did in the darkest moments of his life.
For this project I used the Cricut to make the banner and flowers. I hand-painted the Bible verse and background with watercolors, color pencils, and ink. TFL!
I'll also be sharing this over at Link up for Pink.

OMG Moment

So have you ever had one? You know, an OMG moment? I end that phrase with "gosh" by the way. And yes, we all have OMG moments, and for that occasion, here's a card! Interpret as you wish. I'd like to enter it into Crafty Creations Challenge #111- In Stitches, and into Scrappy Moms  Smiley Cards challenge. TFL!

Hope Banner for October Breast Cancer Awareness

I made this banner for Breast Cancer Awareness in the month of October using several Cricut cuts, embellishments, the Cuttlebug and the Stand and Salute cart for the ribbon. I'll be entering this project to Link Up for Pink.
