Cricut Cardz Challenge #86 "Tutti Frutti"/ SSSC 129

Hi there,
I made this card for the Cricut Cards Challenge # 86 "Tutti Frutti". The challenge is to make a card with a fruit, with any cartridge and for any occasion. Keeping with the school theme, I used the Hello Kitty Greetings Cart for the image of the Apple atop the school books. I also used the Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge map for this card. It's very simple but I hope you like it!
Here is the sketch :

Here's my take on it:
I flipped the sketch to make it work for my image, and kept it in primary colors.

I also added a plaid ribbon under the scalloped border, and twine for the "bookmark" and  square button.

  1. Another great card!! You should enter this card in some of the school theme, back to school challenges out there:) Awesome work:)

Thank  you for joining me!
Today I was inspired to create a Dream catcher with existing shapes using my Cricut Explore Air 2. This was brought about after a Facebook post that got me thinking..."I can do that!"
I hope that you are also inspired to create your own. I have made a 2-part video series to show you how you can easily make your own version of dies that you love, but might not be easily accessible, or if you're anything like me, you want to be resourceful!
