Birthday Invites using Create a Critter

We stay-at -home-doing nothing peeps (read previous post if
necessary) have to be ingenious sometimes. Like when our little one's
"I want a Spy birthday!"
Mom: "But sweetie, your birthday will
be at a barn, with corn mazes, mini-golf, and sweet little barn
Son: "Yeah, but I want everyone to give me spy toys!"
So we come up with Spy mice wearing dark glasses, leading you into a
very intriguing barn, where he will find all sorts of cheese on the
pizza that will be served. Because that makes sense, right?

Psst! I'm undercover!

I added the invitation specs on the inside with a comic-book flair.

Hope Frame with Bible Verse

I was inspired to write this Bible verse to go along with this picture frame and Hope banner. It can be found in Psalm 31: 24, and it reads: "Be strong and take heart all you who hope in the Lord." Suffering from any type of cancer is devastating, and the words of David in what is one of the most beautiful books of the  Old Testament can really shed some light into a relationship in which the only comfort that really made a difference was the one promised by our very maker. If you, or someone you know is suffering from this horrible disease, my hope is that you find comfort not only in your surroundings and those you know, but also in the love of our God, just as David did in the darkest moments of his life.
For this project I used the Cricut to make the banner and flowers. I hand-painted the Bible verse and background with watercolors, color pencils, and ink. TFL!
I'll also be sharing this over at Link up for Pink.

OMG Moment

So have you ever had one? You know, an OMG moment? I end that phrase with "gosh" by the way. And yes, we all have OMG moments, and for that occasion, here's a card! Interpret as you wish. I'd like to enter it into Crafty Creations Challenge #111- In Stitches, and into Scrappy Moms  Smiley Cards challenge. TFL!

Hope Banner for October Breast Cancer Awareness

I made this banner for Breast Cancer Awareness in the month of October using several Cricut cuts, embellishments, the Cuttlebug and the Stand and Salute cart for the ribbon. I'll be entering this project to Link Up for Pink.
