Shadow Box/Create a Critter

I was watching Kathy from Paper Phenomenon a few nights ago (was it last week?), making a shadow box for the Pita babes. I was so smitten by her project that I went out, got hot glue, and decided I too would make a box with some snazzy saying. Yeah, well, let's just say I'm, hot-glue-challenged and leave it at that. However, I don't give up that easy!! I made a smaller version using a little bit of hot glue, and LOTS of my user-friendly Tombo adhesive. I also hand painted a cornucopia I found about a year ago in the $ bin at Joanne's and Tombo'd that baby right on the box too. The Owl is from Create a Critter. The frame and phrase are from Wild Card. I cannot recall where the frame for the box was from. I also added Stickles and distressed stickles too. If Kathy is watching, thanks for the inspiration babe! BTW, my nails are all in one piece! LOL Papers are from DCWV Fall stack-Gotta have 'em!!

BTBB-2 Challenge, Graphically Speaking, Gypsy Font

Hi there,
BBTB-2
Today I'm entering the challenge over at BTBB2. I'm hoping it's not too late! The request was that you use the pointing hand cut from the Graphically speaking cart. I am trying to scrap some old pics and came across some from a cookie party we had last year. I thought the title would tie in quite nicely. The font is from Gypsy Font and the little circles are from another cart (can't remember). I hope you like it!

You Made My Day Card using Wild Card

This little birdie did not like to have his picture taken, but I managed to get a shot of him right before he flew away. I made this little easel card using Wild Card. I added stickles an white ink, a little chalk inking, and used a fiskars punch for the little flowers. TFL!

Birthday Banner-Robotz, Gypsy, Accent Essentials, Mothers Day

Hi everyone,
Although I don't have very good pics of my ds birthday, I did manage to get some pics of the "inanimate" objects I made for it... well most of them. I managed to forget to take pictures of the centerpieces I labored over for HOURS! Well, it happens to everyone, right? Anywho, here is a banner I managed to make in the Robot theme (LOVE THAT CART!!). If the pictures don't tell, it reads: Diego is 5 Happy Birthday.

TFL! I love comments!

Helloooo Kitty-Fall Birthday Card

I LOVE HELLO KITTY!! Yep. I do. I made this card using HK and in lieu of the Bow, added leaves and acorns, and welded a little pumpkin to make her a "fall" Kitty. I also used enamel for the whiskers, sunflower seeds, and eyes, stickles for her nose and distress stickles on the acorns. I also used the Cuttlebug to give the pumpkin a little texture and Create a Critter for the sentiment. I think she'll be on my list of faves for a while! I am entering this into the Pink Stamper challenge to create something with either a Fall of Halloween theme.

Robotz-Goody Bag Bookmarks

I made these for my son's class as a goody-bag treat for his birthday. I used Animal Kingdom and Robotz, welded the shapes on my Gypsy, and voilá. For the eyes I used enamel and white pen for details, as well as stickles for a little shine. I hope they like them! I'm just excited I found matching glittered pencils and huge paper clips to add too!

Robotz-Party Time Invitations

I made these cards by referring to the actual Robotz manual demo. I though it was such a cute card, but of course I tweaked it and gave it my own touch using my Gypsy. This cart is not the easiest to use (for some reason the sizes of layers don't correspond) but I love the finished product! I used glitter cardstock and some shimmery green paper from Core'dinations and added some stickles for the eyes, stickers and white pen doodling for the antenna and it's "messaging". Let me know what you think!

Here's my latest project!
