Christmas in July Poinsettia Card Christmas Cheer

Thank you for stopping by!
I have gathered some supplies and begin my Christmas cards! This one is a simple card with a bit of golden shine getting you ready for Christmas Cheer!

I used my Cricut Explore Air 2, and Design Space3 to come up with this pretty card.
Playing with this combination of colors and the oxide inks is TONS of fun! Each background is unique, as the alcohol in the Color Shine reacts with the pigments in the Oxide inks. It's a must have!

The background was made with Ranger Oxide Inks and Heidi Swapp Color Shine
The sentiment was stamped using a Stamping Up sentiment from the Sweet Essentials collection.
On the green tag, I used a Hero Arts stamp with American Crafts gold pigment ink for a subtle effect.
The label is an unbranded stitched label die that adds just the perfect amount of texture.

The poinsettia is the eye-catcher of this simple card, and I finished it off with a splash of Gold Color Shine, as well as golden seed beads that will stay put with Glossy Accents.
To finish the card, I did manage to find more pieces of sequins in red, gold, and green.
I scattered these among the card topper, finishing the festive look perfectly!

I hope this inspires you to get started with your Christmas projects!!

Love your selfie Multimedia shaker card

Thank you for stopping by!
I hope you have had a wonderful weekend full of celebration! In this tutorial, I decided to use an image from my collection of watercolors, as well as items from my stash, and of course, my trusted Cricut Explore Air 2. The result was a playful card encouraging you to Love your Selfie!

I used my Spellbinders die to make a small Polaroid shaker, sealed with washi tape, and then finished it with small sequins. I also added a tag finished with a Heidi Swapp stamp and glitter. The watercolor image is also enhanced with glossy accents for her lips and accessories.

These are some of the supplies that I used. I also made the card base and envelope with my Cricut Explore Air 2, and the Striped Card from Spring Fling. These images are free with your access subscription.

I hope that you have enjoyed this tutorial.

Peace & Love Feminine Birthday Goodies

Thank you for joining me!
These little bags were a request for a 16th Hippie Themed Birthday. I had lost of fun coming up with a color theme that would be inspired by the 60's look, yet still remain fresh and current.
I found the perfect papers and washi tape, and my Cricut Explore Air2 made it super easy with the fast-cut feature!

The colors are inspired by the rainbow, and I used vibrant shades throughout.
For the Sentiment, I used the Print & Cut feature, which made the final result clean and cohesive.

I also used several Die cuts with sentiments that fit the theme, such as LOVE, PEACE, the Peace Symbol, and a Happy Face with Flowers.
The entire collection was decked out with bling, gold splashes, and glimmery papers.

Vintage Telephone Card

Thank you for stopping by!
This little card was inspired by the recipient's love of Telephones! I wanted to make it an elegant card that was suitable for the occasion, and I am very happy with the result.
The beautiful collage of flowers is layered with vellum, then finished with a hint of rose color on the edges.

Shake Baby Shake!!

Thank you for stopping by!
Who doesn't like a shaker card? Amiright? Recently, I too, have succumbed to this need to make a card with glitter bits and interaction. These were made with the traditional acetate, and lots of room for shine!
I used the Delicate Bow die from Crafter's Companion, and it suited my card perfectly!

I used sentiment dies that I glued to the background, so if you take a closer peek, you will catch the words "Smile, Happy, and Fun" in the background. The rest is purely glimmer.

Here is another take on the same concept, just in time for the 4th of July!!
For this awesome card, I got my son to play along. He did most of the assembly, and I helped with the more tedious parts. It shimmers beautifully in the light!

Sentiment: Cricut Explore Air 2
Poster Board from the Dollar Store, in Blue and Red.
Sequins from various makers

I hope you give this style of card a try. With a little patience, the results are totally worth it!

Birthday Themed Explosion Box

Thank you for stopping by!
It had been years since my last Explosion Box, and I needed a quick Birthday gift to contain a gift-card. I was surfing through Youtube and decided why not?
This was the perfect way to make my small gift to my bestie look more personalized.

This is the view from the top. I added colorful flowers and a pennant with the sentiment.

The inside pops open to reveal a 3D cup. In it, I placed a gorgeous teabag ( you're seeing a paper rose in the picture)
The small card in this picture contained the sentiment, and housed the gift-card, but the box had a small set of personalized cards also, that she can use for notes.
The note cards all coordinated with soft colors. I used my Cricut to cut them out. as well as the envelopes.

I made a quick video, and the recipe for this 3D card is:
Cricut Explore Air2/ Design Space 3
Cup of Love Dies from The Scrapping Cottage
Paper : ItFactor / WeRMemory Keepers, Others
Love Elsie Stamps/ Claire Pep Rally
Washi tape
  Ranger Distress Inks
Gesso
