Boy oh Boy!!

Hi all,
This is a beautiful mini album made with my Cricut Explore Air 2, and several different Design Space Files. I used several types of papers, including some Corrugated Specialty paper from DCWV for the spine. The cover even has a Hot air Balloon that is also a Shaker!!

I was so happy with every page in this book, and made each with a different style, keeping it all in primary colors, suitable for any type of picture. All of the pages have plenty of room for pictures, as they each have tabs that allow mom to keep special pictures inside.

The front cover has the "Special Delivery" message, and the little joey is holding a kite with string. The front page has a wonderful little airplane, with a dimensional sticker, and the frame inside of the pocket has banners with small stars between each piece.
I also created interactive pages with a removable Giraffe, tags for journaling, and a removable book with a peekaboo window.

Other pages even have a touch of texture with a clothesline, embossed hills, and hand-colored water scene where a whale is splashing away. The shell on the little snail even got a touch of oxide inks, and hand-doodling.
I love giving my projects a personal touch, and the pictures really do not cover it all. So watch my video for an even closer look!

Thank you for stopping by!
Today I am sharing a beautiful card made with Santoro London Gorguss Girl , On Top of The World. I love all of the Gorguss Girl stamps, and this one in particular has a girl sitting on a wire with her little bird friends.

She is so adorable that I pictured her as pretending to be a bird as well. After coloring her, I gave her a plumed headdress with silver and pink feathers.

She is sitting on the front of a birdcage, free as a bird, and the front of the card has a huge girly bow made with white cardstock, pink vellum, and a small embellishment center.
The fence underneath is a beautiful border, and behind her I used a die to color the sky with a doily pattern and oxide inks.

This card is now complete with a beautiful sentiment, a button, and birds that peek out from behind a beautiful scrolled fence.

Super Classy Wedding Lanterns and Boxes, with Cricut Explore Air 2!

Thank you for stopping by!
I recently received a small order for a wedding shower, and I was thrilled to add my personal touch to the items I created for the bride. She was looking for lanterns, and I was so happy that Cricut made this so easy for me. Using nothing but the best quality supplies, the lanterns were impeccable, and the little box was where I also delivered the tealights for her special day.

I decorated the pretty lanterns with silver accents, and pearlescent flowers. The little sprigs to mimic baby's breath were also accented in pearl and silver. The finishing touch was the green ribbon to match the wedding colors.

Each lantern will be lit with a tealight. For this, I created a little box to match!

The box is topped with dry-embossed silver card-stock, a medallion with the couple's initials, and a small sprig to match the lanterns. I topped it with the prettiest bow in white and vellum paper, finished with a clear gem.

I made sure to add a white organza ribbon to the box to finish it off, and add the touch or pearl-inspired white.

To show the bride other possibilities to her special day, I also made a goody-bag sample with the bridal dress-form, a touch of the same pearl and silver colors, and the green silk ribbon.
These items can all be customized as you wish! Contact me at paintsandglitter@gmail.com for special items made just for you!

Mother's Day Shaker Card, and Cricut Design Space Simple Mother's Day Card

Thank you so much for stopping by! You may be here because you were watching my youtube channel, or because you've seen one of my pictures regarding a card or project on Instagram, or Facebook.
Whichever may be the case, I thank you for stopping by,  and here is a small video showing you some of the cards I made for Mother's day. (This post is rather late, but I want to make sure that all of my videos and projects are listed here for reference.) If you have not yet seen it, then following are some pictures and descriptions.

This card began as a Simple Mother's Day Card from the Cricut Design Space Make It Now projects , and I finished it with a small rose doily, a large white doily, some pretty blue birds, and some sequins and twine. The original design looked incomplete when I finished it, so I gave it my own twist! I also added Ranger Liquid Pearls to the birds to accent their details.

I used rolled roses which I made and Martha Stewart flowers in peach.

This card was very easy to make using several dies from my stash, and an Anna Griffin Embossing Folder: Reflected Damask. I used Ranger Distress ink in Abandoned Coral to bring out the embossing in the paper.
I also used a border em bossing folder for the inside of the card. and finished it by layering several dies, a cabochon I made with a mold and painted in Martha Stewart Gold Acrylic paint, and I made it into a shaker using Gold colored Tulle and several sequins and beads.
Here is the video where you can see the results! Thank you for stopping by and be blessed!

Cricut Explore Air 2 Pineapple Pop-Up Card

Thank you for joining me!
Today I am sharing with you this fantastic Pineapple Card! For many this little prickly fruit "symbolizes those intangible assets we appreciate in a home: warmth, welcome, friendship and hospitality."
As I am sending this to someone with a new home, I thought it was perfect for the occasion!
It was so easy to make with my Cricut Explore Air 2, and a few simple steps.
I was inspired by the Simple Pop-Up Cards cartridge, and the awesome paper I had in my stash!

I used:
Pineapple Pop-Up Card from Simple Pop-Up Cards
#M222BB22
Cricut Explore Air 2
For the sentiment:
Congratulations Die from Ali Express
Pineapple paper: WeRMemory Keepers
Recollections: Snow and Hot Pink Markers
Memento : Pear Tart and New Sprout markers

The original card comes with the word "Aloha" written as the sentiment. Since this would not match what I needed, I simply selected this from the layers menu, and clicked the "eye" to hide it.
Please enjoy the video, and let me know your thoughts! I appreciate you stopping by and hope to inspire you to keep creating. Be Blessed!

Koi Card with Cricut

Thank you for joining me!
Today I made a small card using the Koi Card from Cricut's Design Space Dimensional Paper Art.
This was an easy card to make, and I was able to immediately have a matching envelope too! Yet one more reason to love using my Cricut Explore Air 2. It makes having a matching card and envelope so easy!

I used Ranger's Distress ink in Abandoned Coral to give the paper some depth of color, as well as Ranger Liquid Pearls in Pearl and Gold for all of the little details in the fish scales, flowers, and eyes.

I hope you give this little card a try also, it's so pretty!
Have a great day, and be blessed!
