Hat Box Project Share from Decor8yourlife
Hello fellow paper crafters! This is Sandi Nagel, aka Decor8yourlife. I'm thrilled to pieces to be here as a Guest Designer for Paints and Glitter! Today I'm sharing a DIY Hat Box that I made using the SVG files from the Paints and Glitter Etsy Store.I can't begin to tell you how much fun it was to cut this hat box file and put it all together!
This hat box is perfect for gift-giving and sending crafty items to a friend.
The hat box measures approximately 5 1/2 x 4 x 2 3/8. It's wide enough to hold a handmade memorydex card and other crafty goodies!
I don't know which part is the best, seeing it all come together or decorating it! You can add as much or as little embellishments as you want! I hot-glued a couple of trims from my stash, added a couple of trim flowers to the end of the handles, and flat-back pearls on the accent straps.
I also added some large, flat-back pearls to the bottom of my hat box to sit on.
I hope that you've enjoyed my hat box project share and that it inspires you to make several of your very own. Thank you very much for visiting and let me know (in the comments) what you think of my project.
