ROBOTZ, Gypsy & Chocolate, WHAT ELSE? Oh, I LOVE YOU!

OK, How could I not make a robot? I love these little critters, and I thought my kiddos would too, especially since I plan on stuffing this guy like a trojan horse-only he/she will have Chocolates inside instead of angry enemies. I used the Gypsy to weld a heart on his would-be antenna. He's channeling the love...
He's totally cought red-handed! Tryin' to steal the goods!!

His sticker says " I've got nothing but love for you" a.k.a "I'm not sharing  the chocolate!"

I added a felt heart with a metal brad, and the bling is all stickers.

"Ciao peeps" "Te Amo!!" "Je T'aime mon cherie!" "Ti amo"
"愛"

Valentine Accordion Card/ Gypsy/ TBBM/ George

In honor of tomorrow's celebration, here is a little Valentine card with a vintage look, yet some modern applications. (sounds fancy huh?) I used George for the simple heart on the cover, and cut around it to give it a fringe and add texture. The heart topped mini tag has pearls added to it, and some scissors tied with twine. The flower is stamped twice, and I added a skittle to the center (millions of those, need to be used). On the inside, I added an accordion to give the card depth and on it I placed the heart that opens, and added little post cards. The "LOVE" stamp is stamped twice, and I fussy cut the letters to pop them. May Valentine's day be a reminder of love to you as well!!
Two ribbons, a stamped flower, fringed heart, pearls.

I tied the scissors with twine.

The heart opens to reveal the message. Leaving plenty of room on the card to write a personalized message.

Here's a close-up of the letters. I used dimensional adhesive to pop those.

The little post cards reminded me of a"desk" scene.

The small pink heart in the center is also heat embossed, and has a bit of glimmer to it.  I also added pink twine to the larger heart, completed with a bow.

TBBM/Create a Crittter/A Child's Year

I've been MIA, but here are some pics of the latest little batch of goodies I've been working on. These little heart-shaped boxes are from TBBM, and they allow you to cut them with a little heart window without any fuss. To seal the windows shut I used Martha Stewart acetate and my ATG. To add emphasis to the shape I drew the faux stitching with my white Gelly Roll pen, and then embellished the other sides. On one side, each box got a different sticker from DCWV, and the remaining sides got a heart from A Child's Year, and the LOVE phrase from Create a Critter embellished with little buttons on the center of each heart. I actually decorated all sides of the boxes before gluing them together with my hot glue gun. This made it much easier to put them all together and made them nice & sturdy. To finish them off, I added cello bags with Valentine-colored M&M's. YUM!

Hummingbird Card

I made this little card today to inter in the weekly challenges a Cricut Cardz Challenge and BBTB2. The first was to use the colors RED, WHITE, and BLACK in your card, the second was to use a hummingbird image.
Recipe:
Card base in black: 4.5" by 5ish inches-I wasn't accurate!
Red mat : 4 4/16" by 5"
Black mat: a little smaller-  dry embossed with Cuttlebug & Swiss Dots folder (my fav.!)
Hummingbird: 3"from Disney Princesses DCT with two wings for dimension, dry embossed and de-embossed to soften the effect.
Eye: Inkssentials Gloss in black.
Flower : 2.45" from Gypsy Wanderings with Hearts at 1" from DP welded in center. Embossed to add shine, and popped with dimensional adhesive.
Heart Layer: 1" also from DP.
Tombo adhesive was used for everything else.
The interior is matted in white, the small flower was made using the cut-outs from the larger flower and embossed. The border is a sticker from my stash. TFL!

Mini Book/ Playtime

I made this mini book known as the "Santa baby" from Paper phenomenon. Since it was after Christmas, I decided to make it with more of a  "Valentine" flair. It is for a little girl, and I used the new Playtime Cart available at Walmart with the E.
The cover is simple, since the little girl is very young so I only added 3 lil' stickers from my stash.

This little girl is named Lauren- she is wearing bows in her air & matching piping on her dress-I also added buttons made of felt. I changed all the girls faces to suit my style...

This is Tina- she's got a pearl in her bow & bling buttons. Her shirt is a little off- she had too many cupcakes I suppose!

This is Jessica-she has a flower in her hair & her she's holding her cat who happens to have a lil' bitty pink nose! The hearts on her background are stamped and doodled on with a white-gel pen.

This is Lucy-she's wearing 3 little flowers via Fiskars and the little cakes behind her are all glossied up as well as hand painted.
Back to LAuren-she's pointing at the bird. It opens up to reveal a little journaling spot.
She's singing "Why am I such a misfit? I am not just a nitwit...."

I also used puffy stickers on some of the pages rather than doing more inserts.
This lil' piggy went to the market & got the bling treatment too. The scallop border  belongs to the insert for that page.
Here's another page with ribbon and embossing-love my cuttlebug!

inside...

Another sticker on the spine & ribbon ties it shut on the other side. Hope you like it!

Thank you cards/ Paisley

I made these thank you cards using the Paisley cart for the 1st time. I love owls, so naturally I wanted to use that image first. The frog prince is "charming" as well, so he was next. I added little bits of detail here & and there too...

Her eyes are actually rhinestones on top of felted stickers. I also added those stickers to the centers of the flowers. So pretty!

This little guy has embellished eyes finished off with black brads & his crown has stickles on it!

The owl is sitting on self-adhesive ribbon, and the flowers were from my stash of embellishments.

Christmas Banner

Sorry people- New camera= no uploads of current activity. Therefore- this post is late, but better late than never. I will edit this post at a later time when I figure out what I used to make the banner. The pictures are finally here though!
