Take a look at this beautiful easel card I made with the Gorguss Girl Stamp The Runaway!
This stamp set is absolutely beautiful, and I wanted the image to look whimsical and fun.
I used Several supplies to achieve the end result, and I am quite happy with the soft and sweet colors that emerged from playing around with my Sennelier Watercolors, Prismacolor Pencils, and Ranger Distress inks. I used a mixture of all, and I love being surprised by how the inks and paints will blend and make their own story.
The front of the card has the image stamped and colored using Sennelier Watercolors, and Prismacolor Pencils on Mixed Media paper by Canson.
I also embossed the banner and hearts, added gold acrylic paint throughout as a highlight, and finished it with a few gems, a beautiful trim and red star.
The inside has a beautiful frame that I stamped and embossed and also distressed with Ranger Distress inks. To add depth, I also colored in the lace portion with Prismacolor pencils, to match the background paper. The finishing bow adds a feminine touch.
The Runaway Stamp set includes the images as you see above. It is a beautiful and versatile set!
The other sets also had elements I used in this card, such as the Washi stamp, and the Lace frame and the star.

I am doing a series of cards and projects using Santoro London Gorguss Girl Stamps. I recently came across these stamps and absolutely love how whimsical they are! I did a little homework, and now I am happy to have a small stash to work with. ( My birthday gift to me!)

Whichever may be the case, I thank you for stopping by, and here is a small video showing you some of the cards I made for Mother's day. (This post is rather late, but I want to make sure that all of my videos and projects are listed here for reference.) If you have not yet seen it, then following are some pictures and descriptions.
This card began as a Simple Mother's Day Card from the Cricut Design Space Make It Now projects , and I finished it with a small rose doily, a large white doily, some pretty blue birds, and some sequins and twine. The original design looked incomplete when I finished it, so I gave it my own twist! I also added Ranger Liquid Pearls to the birds to accent their details.
I used rolled roses which I made and Martha Stewart flowers in peach.
This card was very easy to make using several dies from my stash, and an Anna Griffin Embossing Folder: Reflected Damask. I used Ranger Distress ink in Abandoned Coral to bring out the embossing in the paper.
I also used a border em bossing folder for the inside of the card. and finished it by layering several dies, a cabochon I made with a mold and painted in Martha Stewart Gold Acrylic paint, and I made it into a shaker using Gold colored Tulle and several sequins and beads.

This theme is still going! I made these embellishments to participate in a swap. It was my favorite part of this project, and I had tons of fun using items that I truly enjoy creating with. I knew that the images I was using were small, but they had the vintage look I really like, and they really inspired me to use vintage-style ephemera. So, I made my own!
I first stamped and altered the paper bags I decided to house the little embellishments. I used several stamp sets and Ranger Liquid pearls in Bronze, as well as Rub on roses.
This Hat stamp was perfect! I also used a white pen, and gold acrylic pen to make the images stand out.
For some of the tags, I added gold paint and glitter to make the images stand out. I backed these with photo paper.
To tie in the theme, I sent my partner an Alice in Wonderland necklace. I altered some Chip board to create matching packaging.
For this embellishment, I made a heart with Plaster of Paris, which I then painted in Gold and Pink. I stamped the image of Alice and the Flamingo on Chipboard, and painted it to match the paper I used for the chipboard in the background. I also added glitter, mulberry flowers, several small dies, a pink button and -of course, pink feather trim!
Here is a closeup of rolled flowers I made with the paper collection, and other flowers I made using miniature playing cards.
For this embellishment, I used outdoor Vinyl to make a gold key, and made the hearts with plaster which I painted in Gold and black, and added black gems, and black papers to ground the images of Alice and the Rabbit.
This image was stamped on a chipboard heart, I painted and sealed it, and backed it up with dies covered in Washi Tape. I finished it with a "fun" sentiment and rolled flowers.
This small embellishment has Alice carrying the pig, and I used a small blue bow with a black gem, washi tape, and rolled flowers to keep with the theme. I used Heidi Swap papers as well as other collections throughout.
My favorite embellishment also got a Rabbit image which I cut out using my Cricut Explore Air 2. I added glossy accents to areas to make him stand out. He is backed with Watercolor paper, that I hand-colored hearts onto. I also cut a heart out of DCWV fabric, and hand-wrote "Curious" as well as colored the edges to match. I made and painted the roses, to make them look like they had been painted Red, and also finished this piece with tulle and hot pink eyelash trim.
I hope that this inspires you to create your own embellishments. Use what is in your stash of goodies!! I had so much fun creating all of these, that I had a hard time parting with them.

This post is a continuation of my Alice in Wonderland mini envelope swap. I decided to make a mini album to accompany the swap, and also made embellishments to go along with the other goodies. I used Santoro Gorguss stamps, as well as several dies and my Cricut Explore Air 2 to make the mini album. I used high quality Watercolor paper to ensure the images were clear, and used Prismacolor pencils and Sennelier Watercolors, as well as paper piecing.
I added a handmade flower I made with pearls. tulle, and ribbon. I also added gesso and glitter throughout
To finish the pages, I embellished with Tim Holtz idea-ology Small Talk sentiments, and several small dies, washi tape, stamps, and trims. I hope you have enjoyed this mini album! I had so much fun making it, and soon plan to make one for keeps!

I recently took part in a group Swap with a Facebook group and had the great opportunity to create some Alice In Wonderland themed items. The requirements were to make a Mini Loaded envelope measuring 4' by 6', as well as 5 Embellishments, a Large Tag, and a Wand.
I designed the envelope in no time using Cricut Design Space, and went to work on making sure all the pieces were cohesive.
Behind Alice is a pocket, designed with Cricut Design Space and layered with specialty trims.
I made this large Rose with Cricut Design Space and my Cricut Explore Air2, Liquitex Gesso, Glitter, and a gem and key. Other flowers were from my stash.
I added charms throughout to tie in the Alice in Wonderland Theme.
The front of the wand has a teapot, topped with a mini sequin heart, and added glitter. I made the rosette with the Cricut, and added gold acrylic paint throughout, with seam binding, lace, and fuzzy pink feather trim.
The back of the wand has a Rabbit with time clock. I used Cricut Print & Cut to make him, added glossy accents, a charm, and backed him with a Cloth heart, layered with Washi Tape, and embellished with Gold paint and heart sequins.
The large tag was embellished with Ranger Liquid pearls, Seam binding, twine, and another Rabbit charm.

The large tag has a caption made with Cricut Print and Cut, a butterfly border, gold trim, and is glittered, as well as embellished with gold paint and liquid pearls.
The back of the tag was finished.
The small tags completed the requirements of 5 dies. I made toppers with a diecut, and used the Cricut Explore Air 2 to make teacups with little tea bags. The little hearts were topped with stickles. The trims are gold and peach tones.
I also added these cute little Prima buttons as a gift. I loved the colors!
The other little gifts were stickers, keys, and stamps, and they all got topped off with more images of Alice, the Mad hatter, and different dies.
These little altered clips helped hold things together.
On the back, instead of a traditional pocket, I added a doily to hold the goodies, and a small envelope and card, made with my Cricut.

One of the clips was a small shaker I made with a tiny bow and sentiment.
I also used a lacy background from Design Space to finish the back, then distressed it with Gesso, glitter, and gold paint splatter.
Sadly, one of my favorite components is not pictured here, as I forgot to take pictures of the Altered envelope and Spoon that I also made for my swap partner.

Thank you for stopping by! It's been a while since I've updated my blog, but I've been busy working on some great projects! In this post, I share some details on a few cards I recently made. They are so adorable and can easily be made with the Cricut Explore Air2 as well as other dies and materials.
For this card, I used a Banner from Lori's Garden, and added the Happy Birthday Sentiment with the Print-and-Cut feature, and flowers from Creativebug. All other dies are from my stash.
I used I used Four legged Friends and Lacy Labels for the Chihuahua Thank you card, and for the sentiment I used the write-and-cut feature.
I also added Recollections Washi tape to certain elements and Ranger Liquid Pearls, as well as sequins to make the flowers sparkle!
This card was made with Anna Griffin's Aviary Embossing folder, as well as Spellbinders dies others.
