Altered Clipboard with Cricut Home Decor

I made this clipboard with the Home Décor cart. I first painted the clipboard with acrylic paints and then adhered the diecuts . The eyelet on top has a pretty flower pattern on it. I put this on with the Cropadile. The little flowers are from a paper punch, and the whole thing was sealed to keep it from peeling.

Card made with Cricut Home Décor

This is a little card I made for my Niece's 12th birthday. I just happened to have this cute ribbon to work with and the most beautiful butterfly from the Home Décor cartridge an voilá! The background is embossed with the cuttlebug and the bottom and top light pink strips were cut with scallop-edge scissors. The envelope was from a different cartridge. (sorry can't remember) I added stickles to give it some flair, and the whole butterfly is "popped". The sentiment "happy everything" and "birthday" tag were stamped, hand-cut and stickled for a little bling. I entered this for the Cricut design challenge @ cricut.com. Wish me luck!

Owl Verse Book

This is a little OWL book I put together at a crop. I still have some more work to do on the inside, but the front is completed. I used several flowers, (the glittery ones came that way!) cutting petals as needed to accommodate the space and a good friend gave me the perfect Eyes. I can't wait to finish this! My plan is to put favorite Bible verses on ea. page to keep in my purse.

JOTS, Plantin' Schoolbook/ Hot Chocolate holder

This is one of those popular Hot Chocolate holders. They are extremely easy to make, but as you see, you can really add some special touches. I stamped the gingerbread image to the cup from JOTS and embellished with Martha Stewart glitter. Also, I embossed the envelope to give it texture. I used my scor-pal to get crisp edges and punched holes at top to thread the ribbon. The tag was from Plantin Schoolbook, using the End Cap feature. I absolutely LOVE that feature!!

Candy Cane Holders

These were some fun little candy cane- holders for my son's class. I had hoped to post a tutorial but that didn't work :(. These little stockings are from JOTS, cut at 3.5", with the layer and shadow cut at the same size. Some of the bows didn't cut out correctly (not sure why) so I improvised and used the red ribbon you see here. The candy canes were taped to the back with the message: Merry Christmas. Super Simple!

Zoobaloo/ Birthday Card Male

This is simply one of my favorite birhtday cards. I had an idea of what I wanted to do, and got pretty close to the result by using a little imagination and tweaking some cuts made with the Cricut and the Zoobaloo cartridge.
