Multimedia Pieces with Butterfly Stamp and Ranger Distress Inks

Thank you for joining me!
Today I am showing you some of my multimedia pieces inspired by a lovely Butterfly, and Ranger Distress Inks.
I had tons of fun recycling materials for this one-of-a-kind project to beat the cold weather (yes, I have over 20 inches of the white stuff outside my window!)

My Recipe: Recycled Cardboard, and packing envelope.
Liquitex Basic Acrylic Gesso / White
 Ranger Distress Inks (Several).
Once Those were all applied, and the ink and Gesso were still wet, I sprinkled Embossing powders in Blues and Yellow and heat embossed the areas.
Hero Arts G1243 Large Butterfly Stamp Neenah White Cardstock (80lb), colored using a pearlescent palette of watercolors, and Derwent Inktense Pencils.
I used several dies from Spellbinders, Sizzix, and Ali Express that I cut out of the same paper. These were all painted using the same inks, and some I embossed with Bit of Paisley Cricut Cuttlebug folder. I hope that this inspires you to have some fun, and break out of the box with whatever materials you may have on hand. Thank you for watching, and please comment and subscribe to my channel!
Be blessed, Raquel💜💙

Cricut Explore Air 2 Pineapple Pop-Up Card

Thank you for joining me!
Today I am sharing with you this fantastic Pineapple Card! For many this little prickly fruit "symbolizes those intangible assets we appreciate in a home: warmth, welcome, friendship and hospitality."
As I am sending this to someone with a new home, I thought it was perfect for the occasion!
It was so easy to make with my Cricut Explore Air 2, and a few simple steps.
I was inspired by the Simple Pop-Up Cards cartridge, and the awesome paper I had in my stash!

I used:
Pineapple Pop-Up Card from Simple Pop-Up Cards
#M222BB22
Cricut Explore Air 2
For the sentiment:
Congratulations Die from Ali Express
Pineapple paper: WeRMemory Keepers
Recollections: Snow and Hot Pink Markers
Memento : Pear Tart and New Sprout markers

The original card comes with the word "Aloha" written as the sentiment. Since this would not match what I needed, I simply selected this from the layers menu, and clicked the "eye" to hide it.
Please enjoy the video, and let me know your thoughts! I appreciate you stopping by and hope to inspire you to keep creating. Be Blessed!
Raquel

Koi Card with Cricut

Thank you for joining me!
Today I made a small card using the Koi Card from Cricut's Design Space Dimensional Paper Art.
This was an easy card to make, and I was able to immediately have a matching envelope too! Yet one more reason to love using my Cricut Explore Air 2. It makes having a matching card and envelope so easy!

I used Ranger's Distress ink in Abandoned Coral to give the paper some depth of color, as well as Ranger Liquid Pearls in Pearl and Gold for all of the little details in the fish scales, flowers, and eyes.

I hope you give this little card a try also, it's so pretty!
Have a great day, and be blessed!
Raquel

I hope that you are also inspired to create your own. I have made a 2-part video series to show you how you can easily make your own version of dies that you love, but might not be easily accessible, or if you're anything like me, you want to be resourceful!
Please subscribe and like, and let me know your thoughts, or what you have made!!

Intricate Card with Cricut

Thank you for joining me! I recently ran into Olga Diretorenko on YouTube. I can't even begin to explain how much she has inspired me to do what I love, as I most enjoy doing it. I love intricate small designs, and absolutely love texture. This is what I enjoy about paper arts, and Olga reminded me of this. She used a die in her Spring Spirit pocket letter #2 that inspired this card. If you run by her channel, you will see what I mean! I hope you enjoy my take on this card, and THANK YOU to Olga for your inspiration!!

Cricut Explore Air 2, and My new FAVORITE Card!!

Thank you for joining me!!
Y'all, I am sooo excited to show you this card! Reason being that sometimes you get to crafting and things don't look as you envision them, but since I received my Cricut Explore Air 2, I am so pleased!!
This machine takes ordinary paper and makes beautiful designs out of it!
On this card I used :
Anna's Garden Cards and Embellishments.

To begin,
I selected the images I wanted, sized them to the background of my card, and attached them to let my Cricut know where to write. The rest was easy peasy!

I also traced along the edge of the Flourish Icon with my Gelly Roll pen and added Viva Pearls to the centers of flowers. I also added Ranger Distress Ink to the edges of dies in Mermaid Lagoon. I fussy Cut around the Flower Decorative element and added it to the envelope for an extra decorative touch.

Paper: Recollections, and gems from stash. I hope you enjoy this and that you leave me a comment letting me know what you think!!
Be blessed!
Update: Please see the video on my previous post if you are interested in seeing how I made this and other cards.
